The SMART PRESS SPC² wine press can be fed by a pump via a manual or pneumatic feed valve. The Easy Fill system, coupled with pressure sensors, allows for smart control over filling for optimum, safe management of the tank.

The press can be fed by gravity through one or two doors depending on the model. It can be fed directly or via a conveyor, ensuring a gentle, uniform feed of the grape harvest

The Fast Press screens provide an exceptional drainage surface for fast juice flow. Their punched vertical slots and soft surface protect the grapes and ensure effective self-filtration.

Their smooth design, with nowhere for material to build up, enables the pomace to be removed quickly and makes cleaning much easier.

Designed to optimise the filling phase, Easy Fill is based on a partial rotation system controlled by analysing the juice flow and the pressure in the tank. If the juices are flowing naturally, rotation is avoided to preserve their clarity. If the flow rate slows, the press triggers a targeted rotation that effectively breaks up juice pockets without excessive movement. The result: smooth extraction, few deposits and up to 3% less solid matter in the juices compared to full rotation.

At the same time, Easy Fill intelligently manages the pressure in the press to prevent blockage or overpressure. Three valves adjust the membrane’s stopping position, ensuring natural air evacuation and smooth operation.

The intuitive Touch Press 12'' touchscreen interface and the smart Easy Press 2 pressing system make it easy to get started with the equipment and use it every day. They allow you to:

  • Customise the pressing cycles based on the winery’s logistical requirements or quality goals
  • Adjust the pressing program in real time
  • Display the pressing curves and consumption
  • Save programs (in advanced mode) on a USB stick for perfect traceability
  • Automate pressing with Easy Press 2 according to two key criteria: juice quality and pomace dryness
  • Optimise tank filling with Easy Fill

Advanced customisable mode:

  • The operator configures each phase of the cycle precisely: pressure, holding time, number of crumbling revolutions.
  • Up to 20 programs can be saved and exported (with programs of up to 99 lines).

Easy Press 2 mode:

  • The pressing is controlled automatically based on juice run-off and targeted dryness level. The operator adjusts the “quality” and “dryness” criteria on the Touch Press screen.
  • Optimised pressing and crumbling times, stopping when the target dryness level is reached.
  • Five predefined pressing profiles.

Displays the juice yield in real time. This advanced control system using a flow meter and a weight sensor improves accuracy at every step. The real-time juice yield is displayed even before the pressing cycle begins. Pressing time and monitoring can be optimised – the volume extracted and the last peak as a percentage of the total volume are displayed for each cycle. Extraction is perfectly monitored, avoiding both juice losses and the risk of over-extraction.

ENOXY+ and INGAS: These options enable the direct, controlled injection of neutral gas during the pressing cycle. They effectively protect the juices and musts from oxidation, preserve aromas and limit organoleptic deviation. This system is controlled via the Touch Press touchscreen.

This separates the juices and routes them to different vats based on their quality (free-run juice, pressed juice, final pressing). The selection can be programmed according to the winery’s needs (optional: automation using valves).

This automated cleaning program significantly reduces water consumption and press washing time. The press is ready for another cycle in 20 to 45 minutes, with minimal manual intervention. The press includes a cleaning system (CIP) for each door, equipped with a retractable rotary nozzle for complete, uniform cleaning of the inside of the press.

The SMART PRESS SPC² wine press can be moved easily for different cellar configurations, with two solutions to choose from: motorised movement on rails, ideal for fixed installations, or a mobile version on wheels, offering greater flexibility of use.

This connectivity solution enables remote monitoring of the pressing process on a smartphone or tablet via PELLENC CONNECT. It offers a real-time view, cycle history and alerts to secure operations even outside the cellar.
