Why opt for the Pellenc leaf remover? As a rule, small fragments of the sucked-in leaves are scattered throughout the vegetation and act as carriers of fungus strains. Cut leaves also tend to sick the vines, causing injuries and diseases... Pellenc's rotating drum leaf remover cuts off the leaves at the stalk in a mannet comparable to manual stripping. Generally, since the pulling force on the leaves is low, they are not stripped away around the grape clusters. Only a single layer of leaves is removed, which considerably reduces the effectiveness of mechanical leaf-removing... But thanks to the excellent pulling action provided by its rotating drum and feed system, the Pellenc tool strips off the leaves around the grape clusters without injuring the harvested grapes. Current machines are not suitable for leaf-removing on growing vines. They are usually employed on carefully trained vines, and therefore can only be used by this type of grower. The Pellenc rotating-drum leaf remover provides adaptative and highly efficient leaf-removing for all types of vineyards, and specifically for growing vines. |
